a. Eligibility

b. Account Creation

You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your listing, including contact details, business hours, and descriptions.
b. Prohibited Content
You agree not to submit any content or listing that is illegal, harmful, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, or otherwise offensive. Content that violates local or international laws, or infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others, is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to remove or modify any listing or content that violates these Terms or that we believe is inappropriate.
c. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service, including text, images, and business details. However, by submitting content, you grant Connecting Shops a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content on our platform and through marketing channels. This license allows us to promote your listings and enhance the visibility of your business.
d. Third-Party Listings
The Service may display content provided by third parties, including other users, advertisers, or third-party listings. We do not endorse or guarantee the accuracy or quality of third-party content and are not responsible for any issues arising from your interactions with third-party listings.
5. User Conduct
You agree to use the Service in accordance with the following conduct guidelines:
- Do not engage in any activity that violates local, state, national, or international laws.
- Do not submit or promote fraudulent or misleading business listings.
- Do not engage in any activity that could harm, disrupt, or interfere with the operation of the Service, including hacking, spreading malware, or engaging in unauthorized data collection.
- Do not use the Service to harass, threaten, or defame others.
- Do not attempt to manipulate search results, ratings, or reviews by using fake accounts, spam, or other deceptive methods.
We reserve the right to monitor and review user activity on the Service to ensure compliance with these guidelines. Violations may result in the suspension or termination of your account and removal of your listings.
6. Payment and Subscription Plans
a. Free and Paid Services
Connecting Shops offers both free and premium listing services. Basic listings may be available for free, while additional features, advertising options, or enhanced visibility may require a paid subscription or one-time payment.
b. Payment Terms
If you choose a paid service, you agree to pay the fees associated with the service as described at the time of purchase. Payments may be processed through a third-party payment processor, and by using our Service, you agree to the terms of the payment processor. All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
c. Auto-Renewal
Certain premium plans may be offered on a subscription basis with automatic renewal. If you choose a subscription plan, your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each term unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will be charged the applicable fees for the renewal period.
d. Refunds
Refunds for paid services will be issued at our sole discretion, and we do not guarantee refunds for any payments made. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact our support team to discuss your situation.

9. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Uttar Pradesh, India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to resolve any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service through binding arbitration in Varanasi. Any claims must be filed within one year of the event giving rise to the claim, or they will be barred.
10. Termination of Service
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for any reason, including a violation of these Terms. Upon termination, all licenses granted to you under these Terms will cease.
11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
